Terms of Use
Last updated: October 4, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the bingo-tutors.com website and the online tutoring services provided by Bingo Tutors (“Bingo Tutors”, “we”, “us”). By using our website or services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
1. Our services
Bingo Tutors arranges one-on-one and small-group online tutoring for students in Canada, delivered by remote tutors who may be located outside Canada. Details such as subjects, schedule and fees are agreed with you before tutoring begins.
2. Who can use our services
You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority in your province or territory, to book services. Parents or legal guardians book on behalf of students who are minors and are responsible for their use of our services. Students aged 13 to 17 may contact us, but a parent or guardian must agree before sessions are booked.
3. Bookings, fees and payments
Our standard rate is $15 per hour in Canadian dollars (CAD), and the first demo class is free. Any other fees are confirmed before you book. Payment is due as agreed at the time of booking. We may change our fees for future sessions with reasonable notice.
4. Cancellations and rescheduling
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, may be charged in full. If we or your tutor need to cancel, we will offer a replacement session or a refund for that session.
5. Online sessions and safety
- Sessions take place on video-conferencing tools such as Zoom or Google Meet. You are responsible for a suitable device and internet connection.
- For younger students, we recommend that a parent or guardian is nearby during sessions.
- Students, parents and tutors must behave respectfully. We may end a session or our services if there is abusive, unsafe or inappropriate behaviour.
- Sessions are not recorded unless everyone involved (including a parent or guardian for a minor) agrees in advance.
- Please raise any safety concern with us right away at info@bingo-tutors.com.
6. Academic integrity
Our tutors help students understand material and build skills. They will not complete graded assignments, tests or exams on a student’s behalf.
7. No guarantee of results
We work hard to help every student improve, but results depend on many factors, and we cannot guarantee specific marks, grades or admissions outcomes.
8. Website content
The content on this website, including text, logos and images, belongs to Bingo Tutors or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. We try to keep information accurate and up to date, but it is provided “as is” and may change without notice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Bingo Tutors is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of our website or services, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the sessions giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without limiting any consumer protection rights you have in your own province or territory.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when they were last changed.
